Pioneers Battle to Top Bay College on Cancer Awareness Night in Game Dedicated to Pioneer Parent!
In a battle of first year programs, the Pioneers came out on top today! After a strong team meeting Friday night, Delta came out hot and took the first set. After dropping the second set, Delta came back to finish off Bay College 3-1.

The standout student athlete of this game was our libero Kya Belill. The freshmen's current statistics for the season are 14 aces, 2 kills, 23 assists, 155 digs

Coaches comments:
We had a great meeting Friday night while watching film and the team really showed up today. Kya Belill was all over the court as the libero, and she had her best game serving this season. Our communication was the best it's been this season. We're looking forward to carrying on this momentum into next week!
Any adjustments for next game:
Some of our top players were a little off today, and it's encouraging that we were able to battle through and see other players step up and take some pressure off them. I'm really excited to see the team build off this victory.
Additional Comments:
We get to travel to Escanaba in a few weeks, so I am sure the Norse will have that game circled on their calendar. We will be ready for them!
