Played high school ball for hall of fame coach Jeff Hartt and played summer baseball with national Midland Berryhill Post 165 and manager Steve Cronkright...earned 8 varsity letters in high school in baseball (2), basketball (3) and football (3)....was twice named all league, all district and all region in baseball while being selected to the Bay City Times Dream Team and earning team honors as the Offensive MVP in both his junior and senior years...best baseball memory was the American Legion World Series with Berryhill in North Carolina in 2014 and appearing on ESPN's SportsCenter Top 10 with a diving catch....enjoys hanging out with friends and family and watching sports in his spare time...majoring in Secondary Education to teach History...parents are Dale and Janet Clyde...has one sister, Kennedy.

2015 Season:  Named All MCCAA Freshmen First Team and  MCCAA Honorable Mention as in infielder...batted .328 with 22 RBI's mainly from the leadoff spot...also scored 40 runs and nabbed 14 stolen bases in 18 attempts...had 14 multi-hit games including a 4-for4 effort against MCCAA opponent KVCC and a 4-for-4 effort with 3 runs against Region XII opponent Cuyahoga...led the team in doubles (13), second in walks (28) and third in on-base percentage (.448)...fielded at a .907 clip playing mainly at shortstop and had 194 total chances...also appeared in three games on the mound for the season pitching 11.2 innings while striking out 12 and walking for with a 3.86 ERA...collected a win against the SVSU club team and a save against King College.
