2025-26 Delta College Men's Basketball Recap

The Delta College Men's Basketball team wrapped up their season that combined high offense with a postseason run. They finished 4th in the MCCAA Northern Conference; They went 10-16 overall and 7-7 in the MCCAA Northern Conference  

Conference Standing: 4th Place in the MCCAA Northern with a record of 7-7 

Post Season: Loss to Montcalm Community College 77-78 in the Great Lakes District A Quarter-final 

Season Overview  

The team had a great offensive run with averaging 83.0 points per game with a 68.4% free-throw percentage, 35.2 rebounds per game, and 16.3 assists. They had some big wins during the season. Nov. 18 vs Kellogg (100-86), February 14 vs North Central Michigan (99-71), February 14 vs Montcalm Community College 79-78 with a Buzzer Beater by Jimmy McCrum. And February 24th vs Alpena Community College 121-80 

Leader of the Team  

Without a doubt Sir'Real Smith is the leader for the DC Men's Basketball. He reached the 500 points mark on the season just halfway through and finished the season with 697 points, 216 rebounds, 33 steals, and 63 assists. He was a unit on the court with 30.3 points per game, averaging 9.4 rebounds per game, three-point percentage of 38.6
