Pioneer Men's Golf Places Third At MCCAA Championship

It was a strong showing for the Delta College men's golf team, which secured third place at the conference championship this week. The Pioneers finished the two-round tournament with a team score of +69.

Leading the way for Delta was Owen Halstead, who carded a +9 to place fifth overall in the individual standings. Nathan Cleghorn also delivered a solid performance, finishing 15th with a +15. Rounding out the team's scores, Carson Shampo posted a +21, Kevin Groulx shot +25, and Owen Wendt finished at +28.

With the conference championship behind them, the Pioneers now set their sights on the NJCAA Region XII Championship, scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday.
