Men's Golf Finishes In 2nd Place at Nationals
Delta College Men's Golf – NJCAA Division III National Championship
Delta College delivered an outstanding performance at the NJCAA Division III Men's National Championship in Chautauqua, New York, this past week finishing 2nd overall out of 12 teams with a four-day total of +46, firmly establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the nation.
Delta opened the tournament with a +24 in Round 1 but quickly rebounded and showed resilience over the next two days. Delta responded with back-to-back rounds of +5 in Rounds 2 and 3, which propelled them into a strong position in the standings. They closed the championship with a +12 in Round 4 to secure the national runner-up finish.
Individual Highlights:
- Owen led the charge with an impressive 3rd-place finish, posting rounds of 81-71-72-70, highlighted by a strong final round.
- Grady finished 10th with consistent play across four rounds 78-72-73-76.
- Ben added a 12th-place finish, shooting 78-74-73-76.
- Cole Brady placed 22nd with rounds of 75-76-79-77.
- Talan Bailey finished 44th, shooting 82-87-75-85.
