Delta College Women's Basketball Dominates over Kellogg CC
The Delta College Women's Basketball Team delivered a commanding performance on Tuesday night, dominating Kellogg Community College 106–64 behind an explosive offensive effort and balanced team play. The Pioneers shot an efficient 38-for-99 from the field and forced Kellogg into constant defensive pressure with 47 total rebounds and 26 assists.
Malaya Brown led all scorers with 17 points, knocking down three triples, while Alexis Schlatter added 16 points, attacking from both inside and beyond the arc. Makayla Watkins and Olivia Nickson also made significant contributions, posting 15 and 10 points. Damaya Hartick was a team player with 11 assists and only one turnouver Delta's depth shone with 13 different players recording minutes and several reserves making key impacts.

Defensively, the Pioneers controlled the boards and disrupted Kellogg's rhythm, highlighted by 11 team steals and strong rebounding from Schlatter, Watkins, and Aya Mosley. Delta dominated second-chance opportunities with 26 offensive rebounds, fueling their fast-paced attack.
Delta moves to 4-2 overall and will host Owens Community College Thursday night at 5:30 PM.
