The Delta College Women's Basketball Team faced a tough challenge at home, falling 57–90 to Mid Michigan College in conference action.
Mid Michigan built momentum early and maintained control throughout the contest, capitalizing on efficient shooting and strong rebounding. Delta worked to stay competitive, but struggled offensively, shooting 27.9% from the field and 12.5% from 3-point range. Despite the result, the Pioneers continued to compete on both ends of the floor and showed flashes of defensive intensity.
Aya Mosley led Delta with 13 points and 6 rebounds while also recording 2 blocks. Olivia Nickson added 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals, providing energy and defensive pressure off the bench. Brooke Swartz contributed 7 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, while Annaka Neetz chipped in 7 points and 4 rebounds. Ellianna Miller made an impact on both ends with 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
Defensively, Delta recorded 7 blocks and forced multiple turnovers, but Mid Michigan's depth and scoring balance proved difficult to overcome.
