The Delta College Women's Basketball Team fell on the road to Bay College, 53–103, in conference action on Friday night.
Bay College set the tone early with efficient shooting and constant pressure, building a lead that carried through all four quarters. Delta battled defensively but struggled to keep pace offensively, shooting 30.8% from the field and 13.3% from beyond the arc.
Makayla Watkins led the Pioneers with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block, while Brooke Swartz added 9 points and 4 steals off the bench. Aleixs Schlatter finished with 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks, and Ellianna Miller contributed 5 points and 6 rebounds. Aya Mosley anchored the glass with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks, providing a strong presence inside.
Despite the final score, Delta showed effort on the boards, outrebounding Bay College 46–38, and recorded 8 blocks on the defensive end.
