Delta College Women's Basketball Falls on the Road at Mid-Michigan Community College, 81-50

The Delta College Women's Basketball Team fell on the road to Mid Michigan College, 81–50, in conference action Wednesday night.
The contest was tight early, with Delta trailing just 10–9 after the first quarter. Mid Michigan extended the lead in the second and used a 30-point third quarter to create separation. The Pioneers struggled offensively, shooting 26.8% (19–71) from the field and 0–15 from three-point range.
Aya Mosley led Delta with 21 points on 10–20 shooting while adding 5 rebounds and an impressive 8 blocks. Alexis Schlatter provided 9 points and 6 rebounds off the bench, and Abigail Hendy chipped in 6 points and 4 rebounds. Makayla Watkins added 8 rebounds to help Delta finish with 38 total boards.
Mid Michigan shot 40.3% from the field and knocked down 11 three-pointers, with Delaney Seaman leading all scorers with 26 points.
UP NEXT: The Pioneers return to action Saturday at NCMC as they look to bounce back in conference play.
