FORMER PIONEER EARNS WAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Former Pioneer Faith Webber was named the TicketSmarter WAC Offensive Player of the Week and the Top Drawer Soccer Player of the Week. Webber is a junior forward at Utah Valley. It is the second time this season that Webber has earned WAC Player of the Week honors. Webber recorded the second hat trick of her career and the 11th hat trick in UVU history in a 3-2 road win at No. 19 USC this past week. The road win over USC marks the third time in program history that the Wolverines have knocked off a top-25 team, and it was the second straight season to defeat a top-25 team on the road.

In Utah Valley's two matches last week, Webber scored three goals to go along with seven shots, including five shots on frame to help Utah Valley to a 1-0-1 record. Webber has eight goals this season, which ties her for seventh in the nation.
