Delta College Wins in 8–0 Victory Over Grand Rapids CC

Delta College put on a commanding performance, rolling past Grand Rapids Community College with an 8–0 win. The Pioneers controlled the match from start to finish, firing off 25 shots with 15 on goal, while holding GRCC to zero shots throughout the contest.

First-Half Surge:
Delta wasted no time getting on the board. At the 7:16 mark, Avery Dean opened the scoring off an assist from Ella Wallaker. Just seven minutes later, Anna Weston doubled the lead with an unassisted strike. Dean then found the net again in the 25th minute, assisted by Weston, before Weston tallied her second goal at 26:11, set up by Morgan Ludwig.

The scoring spree continued as Isabella Workman made it 5–0 in the 31st minute off another Ludwig assist. Less than two minutes later, Ciara Kelly struck, assisted by Alahna Beckett, before Workman added her second of the day in the 41st minute. Beckett capped the dominant half with a goal of her own at 43:49, assisted by Rylee Jatczak.

Defensive Shutout:
Delta's defense held firm, not allowing a single shot in the first half and limiting GRCC to just one attempt all game. Goalkeeper Mia Warner played 55 minutes without facing a shot, while Niobe Marchalant closed out the final 15 minutes, making one save to preserve the clean sheet.
