The Delta College Women's Soccer Team put on a dominant show on Wednesday afternoon, earning a 4-1 victory over Jackson College.
Alahana Beckett got the Pioneers rolling early, finding the back of the net to give Delta College the lead. Beckett later set up Brooke Swartz in the 21st minute to extend the lead to 2-0. Alahana Beckett soon brought another goal of her own, assisted by Rylee Jatzcak. Mia Warner was outstanding today with 6 saves and only 1 goal allowed. Sarah Sharpe and Avery Benjamin were the key defensive players, stopping Jackson from scoring. Only allowing one goal despite the 7 shots on goal.
Delta improves its record to 10-0-1 on the season and 8-0 in MCCAA play. They look to continue their perfect season as they have a big conference matchup against Schoolcraft College, which is also undefeated in the conference (7-0).
